How to play

1. Tap one of your pieces: the glowing squares show where it can go. Tap a glowing square (or drag the piece there) to move.
2. Men move one square diagonally forward. If an enemy piece is right next to you on a diagonal with an empty square behind it, jump over it to capture. Captures are compulsory, and if you can keep jumping you must. When a chain has more than one route, tap the squares one by one to choose yours.
3. Reach the far row to crown a king. Kings move diagonally forwards and backwards.
4. Capture every enemy piece or leave your opponent with no legal move to win. A long stretch with no captures or crowns, or the same position three times, is a draw.
5. Rules: English 8×8 (kings move one square), Flying kings 8×8 (kings glide any distance and capture from afar) and International 10×10 (flying kings, men capture backwards, and you must take the most pieces).
6. 2-Player Match: pick your opponent (a friend or a warm-up computer at three levels), the rules, who goes first, how the board turns (towards whoever is up, or fixed for face to face), names and colours. Against a friend, whoever is to move can tap the flag by their name to resign or agree a draw.
7. Vs Computer: 24 levels in four chapters, each adding a new rule. Matches give stars for the pieces you keep. In puzzles every move must keep the win forced, and stars depend on how many tries you need.
