Diabolo Tricks

Whip to the gongs to build spin, toss high for tricks and catch it on the beat! The longer your combo, the more oil lamps glow on the shadow-puppet stage.

How to play

  1. Swipe left and right below, one stroke per beat, to whip: the closer to the drumbeat, the more spin you bank. Extra strokes in a beat, sloppy timing or two strokes the same way slow it down and make it wobble.
  2. Flick up to toss: the mark the left-pillar spin gauge has reached (2–5) is how many beats it flies. Toss on the beat and it lands on the beat for a perfect catch.
  3. While it flies, tap the upper screen for tricks (1–3 taps; more taps cost more spin). High tosses leave time for several tricks. Hold below and slide the string under the diabolo to catch it.
  4. Finish the show with enough catches to pass. Lanterns, requested tricks, 5-beat tosses and Twin Flights plus your score decide the stars; three-star a chapter to unlock its Hell Show.
