Curling Duel

How to play

1. Drag the broom up the ice to choose where to aim. Stones curl the way they spin, so pick “Curl left” or “Curl right” and set the broom a little to the side.
2. Hold the stone and push it forward to set the weight, then let go. The gauge shows whether it will stop as a guard, in the house, or take a stone out.
3. While your stone slides, tap fast to sweep: it travels farther and straighter.
4. Each player throws 4 stones per end, taking turns. After the end, the side closest to the centre scores a point for every stone closer than the other side’s best.
5. The hammer (last stone of an end) is a big edge; whoever scores loses it for the next end. Most points after 4 ends wins; a tie goes to an extra end.
6. 2-Player Match: play face to face with the phone flat (the board turns to each player) or pass the phone. You can also warm up against a computer on three levels.
7. Vs Computer: 24 levels with new ice in every chapter — tilts and bumps, rocks and ice pillars, a mini rink. Win for 1 star, by 2 for 2 stars, shut it out for 3.
